I can’t say enough good things about this harness. It made all the difference in the world for me and my 15-1/2 yo, 50 lb dog. He struggled with arthritis, degenerative myelopathy and related balance problems. He was always an active dog and wanted to do more than his body allowed. The harness made it possible to easily lift his hind quarters, support his rear while steering his front, and get him in and out of the car. With this harness, we were able to go on short walks which picked his spirits up and got the twinkle back in he eyes. It made our frequent trips to the vet easier too.

It was our vet recommended Help Em Up, I had tried lifted his hide quarters with a folded towel, a sling and a different rear life harness – none of which worked well. This harness is very sturdy. The ergonomics are really well designed for people and dogs. It is well made. Expect it to take a few times and a bit of patience to “suit up” and get it adjusted to your dog’s body. After that, it was smooth sailing. The directions were excellent. The only regret I have is that I wasted time with other products before finding the Help Em Up Harness.

I purchased this harness for my 100 lbs. American Bulldog, Monty. Due to his very advanced osteoarthritis and significant weakness after back surgery for a severely herniated disk, he had difficulties standing up, going up and down the stairs and getting up in and out of my jeep. This harness allowed me to very my assist level to go form just assisting him slightly with the movements, to doing the work 100% for him depending on the outcome and situation we were working on. It was easy to manage him and he felt very secure in the harness, for both him and I. If you have a dog, primarily a larger dog with mobility issues this harness is an absolute life/back saver. A must have in my opinion.
