What is Rehab
The Help Your Pet Needs
If your dog or cat is old, recovering from injury or surgery (such as TPLO or hemilaminectomy), or suffering from a chronic or debilitating condition or disease, including arthritis, degenerative myelopathy, disk disease (IVDD), hip or elbow dysplasia, or obesity, you’ve come to the right place. Since 2005, Scout’s House has helped more than 1500 dogs and cats live more comfortable and more functional lives.
Just Like Physical Therapy for Humans
Our expert Rehab Therapists use many of the same equipment and techniques found at physical therapy centers for humans to help your pet move better, function better, and feel better. We offer hydrotherapy, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, therapeutic exercise, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, manual therapy techniques, and low-level laser therapy–all designed to maintain or improve your pet’s quality of life.
Customized Therapy Programs
Our veterinarians and licensed physical therapist will design a customized therapy program based on your goals and your pet’s unique needs, whether it be to recover from surgery, regain lost strength, or just be more comfortable while lying on the couch.
