Low-Level Laser Therapy
Studies with humans and horses have shown that low-level laser therapy can reduce pain and stimulate healing by promoting positive physiologic changes at the body’s cellular level.
How It Works
A form of intense light therapy, low-level laser therapy has been proven to accelerate tissue repair, increase the formation of new capillaries in damaged tissue, and speed the formation of collagen.
How We Use It
At Scout’s House, we find it especially effective for quickly healing cuts, surgical incision sites, and lick granulomas, as well as for helping with the effects of arthritis, intervertebral disk disease (IVDD), soft-tissue injuries (sprains, strains, tendonitis, tenosynovitis, capsulitis, and bursitis), and chronic pain.
